Responsibilities:
- Acting as a role model for team members, providing coaching and training for administrative tasks.
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them
- Optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
- Effectively manage insurance claims and accounts receivable administration.
- Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations, as well as patient recall to ensure a full schedule.
- Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts
- Three to five year of administration experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (any industry)
- Clinical background and experience with Dentrix dental software programs considered an asset
