This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

PROJECT OVERSIGHT:

Manage multiple concurrent projects spanning different regions. Full lifecycle project management, including resource management for a range of client technology projects, adopting RBC project management methodologies, and ensuring governance to RBC PMO standards.

Ensure adherence to agile practices and delivery schedules.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:

Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders at RBC.

Maintain transparent and regular communication to align project goals with strategic objectives. Ensure effective communication flow among business process owners, technical partners, project team members and all IT functions who participate and impact the results of the project development effort.

DELIVERY MANAGEMENT:

Oversee monthly software delivery cycles, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.

Implement proactive measures to address and resolve production issues. Chair working group meetings/ scrum calls, maintain backlog and deliver progress reports.

Anticipate and proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business; liaise with respective teams to mitigate and escalate to senior management in a timely manner.

Assist with prioritization and coordination of deliveries that satisfy both client and business needs across Capital Markets

DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING:

Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including RAID logs and regular status updates.

Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership in a Matrix Environment:

Guide and support both onshore and offshore teams.

Set strategy, advise team members, and actively remove blockers to maintain project momentum.

Evolve technology solutions by driving cohesiveness and align businesses priorities with technology deliverables.

Collaborate with Capital Markets business partners to understand business problems, priorities, and business impact; accurately document processes and present use cases that capture critical functionalities.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

Deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes while meeting monthly targets.

Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Foster an environment of open communication and teamwork across all levels.

Experience with project delivery methods (waterfall, agile, scrum) and implementing methodology changes

Experience in project planning, scheduling, reporting milestones (definition, uses, reporting) and dependencies

Excellent documentation, attention to detail, thoroughness, and strong ownership of work

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Proven experience in agile project management with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment, balancing onshore and offshore team dynamics.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Minimum 7 Years' Experience.

Mandatory background in software delivery.

US regulatory compliance experience is a bonus.

Client Analytics domain knowledge

Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)

PM or Scrum certification

Experience with cloud migration initiatives
