- Analyze, monitor and control the budgetary envelopes of the Program team.
- Present your analysis and recommend your budget strategies to management teams.
- Manage budget governance and prepare the necessary content (Key indicators, Variations, Risks & Opportunities)
- Establish budget schedules and guide teams towards defined milestones.
- Establish performance criteria for certain strategic envelopes and monitor their achievement.
- Help define and maintain a governance calendar for the management team.
- Contribute to the definition and maintain standardized tools for the definition and budget management of the program and engineering teams.
- Identify and manage risks & opportunities by mitigating them with the functional teams.
- Guide a team in solving problems and establishing new processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities on the budget process, define a new work tool and standardize templates.
- Work in a multi-functional environment in which you interact with all levels of management.
- Maintain efficiently and rigorously a large volume of financial data.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional (direct) experience in a similar role.
- You have a university degree in management, finance, business administration or an equivalent.
- You have initiative, are results-oriented and have the desire to make decisions.
- You have strong financial management skills, as well as strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- You are an organized, autonomous person and you are hands-on in managing your deliverables/projects.
- You have very good communication skills (written and spoken) and can influence at different levels of the organization.
- You have experience using and understanding ERP systems (SAP an asset).
- You master MS Office, TEAMS, with knowledge in database management.
- You are able to work in both English and French on a daily basis.
