Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day shift operations (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards, fostering continuous improvement, and supporting the development of a skilled workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to Supervise employees working in the Assembly, Incoming Inspection & Distribution areas, ensuring that each department completes work assignments according to production schedules.
  • Communicates effectively with plant personnel at all levels and encourages growth and improvement where required related to quality, on-time delivery, attendance, and overall work ethic.
  • Coordinate and participate to the efforts of Incoming inspection, meeting the production deadline.
  • Ensures all Health & Safety procedures are followed, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used where required.
  • Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and follows schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and facilitates assignments of duties.
  • Run daily Team Huddles, communicate goals, review workplace safety inspection and communicate safety expectations and hazards.
  • Takes charge of the quality control of the assemblies that are coming out from the production line.
  • Responsible to measure work-orders performances on a daily basis.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Analyses and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • May need to participate actively to production and inspection activities.
  • Maintain files according to policy and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

  • At least 7-10 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lean Six Sigma course completion is a valuable asset.
  • Strong aptitude with MS Outlook and ability to learn MK.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to put in reasonable extra time when required.
  • Strong Team Player – enjoys working with others.
  • Constructive and positive attitude – willing to understand other’s points of view.
  • Able to multi-task and handle various assignments.
  • Organized and efficient – maintains and hits deadlines.
  • Mature and able to work with all levels of Company personnel.
  • Able to handle work independently and perform special projects to completion

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position supervises a variety of production personnel. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
