We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills, a strategic mindset, and experience managing litigation files in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence
Prepare for and attend discoveries, mediations, applications, and trials
Manage files independently and work collaboratively with other counsels
Provide strategic legal advice to clients
Stay current on relevant legal developments and procedural rules
Qualifications
LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized Canadian law school (or equivalent)
Membership in good standing with Law Society of BC
3+ years of post-call litigation experience
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Bilingualism (English/Punjabi) is an asset
