As a Corporate Citizenship & Communications Analyst, you will support Enbridge’s vision and direction for internal communications, employee experience, community investment, and employee volunteering and giving strategy. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Citizenship and the Manager of Internal Communications & Employee Engagement within the Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) function, you will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, shaping trust, and supporting risk and reputation management.

- The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
As a Corporate Citizenship & Communications Analyst, you will support Enbridge’s vision and direction for internal communications, employee experience, community investment, and employee volunteering and giving strategy. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Citizenship and the Manager of Internal Communications & Employee Engagement within the Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) function, you will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, shaping trust, and supporting risk and reputation management.
Key Responsibilities
You will support corporate citizenship and communication strategies and outcomes as an integral part of the public affairs, communications, and sustainability team through internal collaboration and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders.
Corporate Citizenship
- Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to ensure efficiency in Corporate Citizenship activities.
- Promote the Corporate Giving and Employee Volunteering and Giving Program to internal and external audiences.
- Implement enterprise processes for consistent data management, decision-making documentation, activation, evaluation, and reporting.
- Represent Enbridge as an ambassador at select internal and external events.
- Support special corporate citizenship projects and campaigns.
- Engage with strategic community partnerships, including activation, representation, management, and execution.
- Manage community investment data in reporting software and financial management systems.
- Collaborate with the Brand and Digital Communications team to ensure brand representation in community partnerships and sponsorships.
- Maintain and enhance the Employee Giving and Volunteering - Benevity SPARK platform.
- Facilitate campaigns and respond to employee/volunteer requests and inquiries.
- Promote the Corporate Giving and Employee Volunteering and Giving Program to internal and external audiences.
- Develop and execute strategic internal communications plans to support business priorities.
- Collaborate with the broader PACS team for communications alignment and narrative consistency.
- Support governance strategy and metrics reporting.
- Coordinate and post content to various digital channels.
- Provide digital administrative support.
- Champion storytelling to enhance employee engagement, brand awareness, and trust.
- Stay current on emerging trends and best practices to enhance purpose, vision, culture, and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, business administration, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or a related field.
- 1-4 years of related experience.
- Experience in and understanding of a large company with operations in multiple regions.
- Proficient with Benevity GRANTS and SPARK platform for Corporate Giving and Employee Volunteering and Giving Program.
- Passionate about building employee engagement, community investment, and organizational alignment through effective internal communications.
- Experienced in community capacity-building initiatives.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with well-developed prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Proven writing and editing capabilities, demonstrated success in implementing communications plans, and an understanding of communication best practices.
- Highest standards of personal integrity when leveraging financial resources to advance the company’s reputation are required. Well-developed discipline in accounting and budget expertise.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Visio), Oracle accounting software, content management platforms, digital publishing, and Google Analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate social responsibility principles: customer-focused approach with both external stakeholders and corporate management and experience working with not-for-profit organizations or community groups is considered an asset.
- Located in Calgary office.
- Enbridge has optional work-from-home days on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Travel: Occasional travel to select field locations, Houston, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
- Job frequently involves tight deadlines and managing sensitive issues.
- Typical professional work hours of 40 hours per week that could extend to weekends and evenings for special projects or emergencies.
