Salary Range: $33.64 - $42.05 /hour
Temporary Full-Time position until approximately July 1, 2026, (with potential for renewal), subject to the availability of work.
The successful candidate will work with direction from Dr. Michael Borrie in the role of the "Research Coordinator 1". This position will assist the Cognitive Clinical Research Group.
Responsibilities may include coordinating the day-to-day activities of a research project to ensure the successful completion of research protocols from study set-up to closeout. Ensuring compliance with study goals and objectives, standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Applies specialized knowledge to initiate, implement, coordinate, and manage single and/or multi-site research projects in all phases. Performs routine tasks, tests, procedures and/or assessments in accordance with the study protocol, and regulated health professional practices.
This is a 5 day (37.5 hours) per week position.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health-related field
- Three years of experience in clinical research
- Training in ICH/GCP guidelines
- Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and have the ability to deal with confidential matters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively general and scientific information both verbally and in writing at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions. Good judgement, initiative, tact and professional attitude in the workplace.
- Adaptable, flexible and resourceful. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with LRI policies and procedures an asset
- Familiarity with national, international and provincial research funding agencies/ organizations that fund research would be a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work in teams, e.g. including faculty, staff, students and residents
- Experience working with older adults with cognitive impairment and their study partner(s)
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
