Peanuts or pistachios? There's room for everyone at Krispy Kernels. We're looking for a full-time Substitute Network Trainer for our distribution network. Are you ready? Get your hands in the food industry: Under the supervision of the Regional Manager /Atlantic Region, you'll perform various tasks to support the sales-distribution department. One thing's sure; you'll be a key ingredient in the distribution activities of a local snack brand.

Here are some tasks that are crisp, not just a bag of chips. Here are your key responsibilities.

  • Training and supporting the distributor network
  • Training new distributors on the operation of Mémo (handheld computer), merchandising setups, and marketing
  • Replacing corporate routes
  • Filling in for distributor vacations
  • Conducting in-store merchandising and displays
  • Establishing and maintaining good business relationships with clients
  • Participating in sales activities (trade shows, store visits, business meetings, etc.)
  • Conducting periodic inventory counts
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by your supervisor

Do you have the ingredients we're looking for?

  • 2 years of experience in the retail food industry.
  • Food distribution experience would be an asset.
  • Travel is required, not only in NB, but other areas (NS & PEI) when needed
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • Be a problem solver with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities in a constantly evolving environment
  • A valid driver's license
  • Bilingual in English/French, both spoken and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI
