Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave #478 in Brandon-Victoria, Manitoba.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
- Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
- Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
- Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
- Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste according to regulations
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in advanced skills (e.g., Compounding, automation, central fill, compliance packaging, OAT).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software, Kroll is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 32 to 40 hours per week.
- The store operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Regular shifts will typically run Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
