Profile (Overview Of Job)

We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The position reports to the Manager, Aftermarket Pricing. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies for aftermarket spare parts and kits, based on financial guidelines, to maximize company and customer value. This includes collaborating with the DHC aftermarket team, internal reporting, analysis and understanding of the aftermarket competitive landscape and implementation of the pricing strategies into the company ERP (enterprise resource planning) system. Together, with your manager, you will co-develop and execute on annual objectives, determining how best to utilize all available tools and resources to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal and external data to recommend market competitive aircraft part sales prices
  • Seek new internal and external data sources which would add value to market competitive pricing strategy
  • Recommend and execute improvements to current pricing methodologies and processes
  • Prepare and maintain regular monthly metrics and reports
  • Administrate pricing activities in ERP (‘enterprise resource planning’) and other systems covering cost, sales price, point of sale discounts, etc.
  • Utilize the ERP and other systems to expedite turnaround times in support of AOGs (urgent needs), price orders, price quotes
  • Identify and resolve data errors in ERP to ensure quality pricing output
  • Build effective working partnerships across functional departments within De Havilland Aircraft of Canada
  • Rotate on-call responsibilities with other team members
  • Support other initiatives and projects as required


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in aircraft part supply chain, pricing and/or valuation
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel experience
  • Experience in IFS (ERP) software application is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration and/or equivalent business degree is an asset
