Job Description

Role : Salesforce Developer

Location : Calgary, Canada

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a Salesforce developer who will focus on Salesforce projects and enhancements working directly with key business leads to deliver business requirements. Developers in this domain work on enhancing the functionality offered by Salesforce through the creation of bespoke applications, integrations, and automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

 Design and Development: Lead the design and development of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.

 Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party platforms leveraging APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and orchestration.

 Customization: Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components to create process automation, complex workflows, and user-friendly interfaces.

 Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, identifying and fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability.

 Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

 Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions to ensure clarity and facilitate future enhancements.

 Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders to ensure they can effectively utilize the developed Salesforce solutions.

Technical Skills:

 Minimum 7 years’ experience on large and complex technology projects preferably in the Logistic industry.

 Salesforce Expertise: Extensive experience with Salesforce development, including knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security.

 Programming Proficiency: Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce-specific languages and frameworks.

 Integration Skills: Strong understanding of integration techniques and technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) for connecting Salesforce to external systems.

 Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing issues and designing effective solutions.

 Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Advanced Developer are highly desirable.
