Dawson Construction is looking for skilled, passionate people to help us safely connect our communities.
As an Administrative Assistant at Dawson Construction, you will play a key role in supporting project operations and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. This is a 6 month temporary, full-time position, where you will report directly to the Manager of Equipment and Assets and collaborate with project teams to help deliver high-quality construction projects. Your base location will be Knutsford, British Columbia.

What Success Looks Like
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls in a timely manner.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing and data entry.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or front office representative.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive and resourceful when issues arise.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
