HVAC Project Estimator

The HVAC project estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects. The estimator analyzes project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine the scope, materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment required for the project. The estimator also communicates with clients, vendors, and internal staff to clarify project details, negotiate prices, and resolve issues. The estimator prepares detailed proposals and bid packages that reflect the project requirements and comply with company standards and industry best practices. The estimator may also assist with project management, scheduling, and quality control during the project execution phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits at various locations
• Source materials and equipment pricing
• Put together Estimates for HVAC Projects
• Work with the Sales Team to create proposals.
• Supports presentations for the Sales process.
  
  

Requirements:

• HVAC industry experience is an asset.
• At least 5 years of Estimation experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite and Computer literacy
• Diploma/degree in a Mechanical field is an asset
• Has drivers license with the ability to visit project sites
