Reporting to the IT Team Lead, the IT Helpdesk Coordinator enables real-time company results by providing onsite support and service for Standard Machine employees, machines, and systems.

Reporting to the IT Team Lead, the IT Helpdesk Coordinator enables real-time company results by providing onsite support and service for Standard Machine employees, machines, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day IT service and front-line support for employees, accounts, and systems.
- Working within a ticket-based issue resolution environment
- Setup, configuration, and installation, and ongoing maintaining of Desktop, laptop, and workstation computers along with printers, telephones, smartphones, and any other handheld devices.
- Download and install programs as required, ensuring machine updates are completed and employees have ability to complete their job functions.
- Utilize specialized knowledge in troubleshooting and problem-solving hardware and software problems in a professional and timely manner.
- Interaction with all levels of associates in identifying how IT can increase productivity and reduce future down time.
- Accountable for machine maintenance including security monitoring, electrical, temperature, and cleanliness, and schedule resources to maintain or resolve issues
- Exposure to servers in local data-centre, This would include physical security, maintenance, and building VMs.
- Accountable for telephone and voice mail system including security, proper environment, maintenance contracts, and scheduling resources needed to resolve or update/patch system as well as day to day changes required such as adding and deleting of user accounts in these systems.
- Ensure Data Backup procedures are followed
- Ensuring compliance with company policies including but not limited to user access, moonlight audits, quarterly reviews, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance (SOX).
- Other duties as assigned by the IT Team Lead
Education
- High school / secondary school diploma
- CompTIA A+
- 4+ years industry/accounting experience
- IT post-secondary diploma and/or degree will be considered an asset
- HP End-User systems
- iPhone MDM Suite
- Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure environment
- MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Adobe Acrobat
- Autodesk Vault and Inventor
- In-person and remote troubleshooting ability
- Prioritizing IT issues and employee support as they arise
- Excellent written and verbal communication including conflict resolution
- Deadline-oriented and strong attention to detail
- Accurate and quality deliverables with ability to review and check own work
- Strong organizational and project planning ability
- Accurately and thoroughly explain IT systems and programs to employees
- CAD Experience
- System imaging
- Network experience
- Kinetic, SAP
