Corpay is currently looking to hire a Scrum Master within our SVS/Buyatab division. This position falls under our gift card line of business and is in Vancouver, Canada. You have experience as a Scrum Master in the tech and/or finance sector, are passionate about agile methodology, and thrive in a highly collaborative team environment. You think critically as well as can empathize with different team perspectives. You have strong problem-solving and communication skills and have experience collaborating with business and technical teams in a dynamic environment. How We Work

As a Scrum Master you will be expected to work out of our Vancouver office location. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Company-issued equipment
  • Assigned workspace in our Vancouver office
  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Helping the team embrace agile values, adopt and apply agile principles and implement agile practices. Serve the team, including the Product Owner (PO)
  • Helping the team align and focus on Sprint and Program Increment (PI) Goals.
  • Fostering continuous improvement of performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and velocity.
  • Guiding the team to remove impediments.
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity. Help the team improve and take responsibility for their actions.
  • Help the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the product backlog and roadmap. Help the PO guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to scope, priorities and product quality.
  • Capturing and monitoring metrics to inform the conversations with stakeholders
  • Driving the Safe Agile ceremonies like daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog grooming
  • Showcasing JIRA and confluence experience and management
  • Performing risk and impediment management
  • Handling external teams’ dependencies and risk management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Hands on minimum 3 years of experience of working as a Scrum Master in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with Jira or other tools utilized in an agile development environment
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM or SAFe SSM)
  • Effective planning and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other engineers including distributed team members
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to all aspects of the development

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $80,000 -$97,000 per annum.
