Our office in Toronto is seeking a B.I.M. Modeler with a Structural background to join our Toronto team.

This is a position to work on projects in the rail (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars) industry in the Toronto office.

The Responsibilities in this role include:

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, and layouts from sketches in the areas of Rail & transit specific design for our clients
• Revit modelling and drawing
• AutoCAD drawing preparation
• Conduct quality control checks of design drawings
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Civil Engineering Technology or engineering program in structural engineering or design
• Must have 5-6 years of experience preferably with an Engineering firm
• Rail\Civil project experience a strong asset
• Proficiency Revit
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is required
• AutoCAD proficiency is an asset
• Meticulous attention to detail essential
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Strong mathematical skills
• Exposure to a construction environment would be considered an asset
• Exposure to Structural design would be an asset
• Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment
• Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Good oral and written communication abilities essential
