Below, is a brief description of the expected product the candidate will be working on
Equisoft/centralize is a powerful back-office insurance agency management system that offers our clients a way to connect carriers' feeds, paramedical data, clients, policies, and more to a single platform. Our workbench solution helps our customers work smarter, provides unique insights, and makes it possible to automate their business processes.
Your Day with Equisoft:
- Review and clean up Azure subscriptions across multiple client environments
- Designing and developing a robust DevOps framework that integrates with the company's existing systems and workflows
- Optimize resource allocation to improve the scalability of our SaaS platform
- Assessing the current infrastructure and recommending technologies to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Develop cost management solutions to track and allocate expenses per client and environment
- Automate CI/CD deployment, configuration and infrastructure management tasks using orchestration tools
- Implement efficient auto-scaling processes to optimize resource utilization and cost
- Establish tagging standards and policies for resource tracking and cost allocation
- Design architecture to properly separate and secure client-specific customizations while maintaining shared components
- Creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure, governance policies, and deployment processes
- Work with development teams to improve deployment workflows for both shared and client-specific components
- Providing guidance and mentoring to team members on DevOps methodologies and best practices for long-term infrastructure improvements
- Evaluate the performance, availability and security of our systems and recommend the restructuring of existing configurations
Technical
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in cloud-native environments
- 10 years minimum in software applications project development
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, specifically:
- Azure Policy
- Azure Cost Management
- Azure Management Groups
- Azure App Service
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Virtual Networks
- Strong knowledge of the principles of software architecture and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Expert knowledge of Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment and lifecycle management, cluster management and operations
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture in cloud environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (Azure DevOps & Argo CD)
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud resources
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in Kubernetes environments
- Knowledge of programming languages relevant to automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience designing and implementing cloud governance frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of French & English (spoken and written)
- Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
- Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
- Cloud certifications (Azure, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure Performance Monitoring (IPM) tools
