We play a pivotal role in shaping IATA’s ground operations products and services—including standards manuals like the AHM and IGOM, training programs, digital solutions, and the IATA Ground Handling Conference. What Your Day Would Be Like
As Manager, Ground Operations Platforms, you will lead the administration, development, and optimization of digital systems supporting Ground Operations. This role combines platform management, data analytics, and content development to drive operational efficiency, data integrity, and user engagement across multiple tools and systems.
Reporting to Head of Operations and Standards, you will be responsible for:
Digital Systems Management
Administer and support Ground Ops digital platforms with primary focus on the Ops Portal and IATA Connect (Ground Operations),
Provide user support, manage access, and troubleshoot technical issues for the OPS Portal
Lead the development and enhancement of digital tools and web-based solutions by gathering business requirements, defining user stories, epics, coordinating testing, and managing deployments with internal teams and vendors.
Data Analytics and Insights
Conduct analysis of operational data to produce actionable insights and performance reports such as standards variations, audit findings, standards mapping with the IDX/ADX data and ISAGO audit results, and provide reports to the relevant stakeholders
Define internal & external dashboard requirements, perform testing, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Publications Management
Develop, test and publish XML-based standards & checklists for OPS Portal, audit software and products, cooperate with the standards content owners and the audit software manager
Management and Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for Ground Ops (OPS) portal, XML standards and checklist, OPS portal data analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital solutions with operational goals and user needs.
Drive continuous improvement in digital tools, data practices, and user engagement strategies.
Develop and maintain technical / user documentation and training materials for OPS portal
Create and deliver training sessions and instructional content to support user adoption and effective use of portal and other platforms.

You Are a Highly Skilled Contributor With a Positive “can Do” Approach, Capable Of Managing Multiple Stakeholders And Portfolios. Additionally, You Should Have
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital platform management, data analytics, system administration or operations support.
Experience IT project management, XML standards and technical documentation.
Knowledge of Salesforce, data visualization tools (Power BI), and content management systems.
Travel Required: Y, 30%
