Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Distribution, this Manager oversees the overall performance and daily operations of the Distribution Centre (DC), ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of inventory in and out of the facility. Our DC Manager is responsible for resource allocation, process optimization, and team leadership to maintain high standards in merchandise flow, safety, training, and customer service. They are also expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.


What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations:

  • Collaborates with the Director of Logistics to reduce costs, increase margins, and improve operational efficiency
  • Partners with the Customer Care Manager, internal departments, and 3PL providers to resolve customer issues
  • Manages and executes projects within defined timelines and budgets
  • Enforces strict adherence to inventory management protocols
  • Implements and maintains warehouse systems to streamline operations
  • Conducts regular audits to ensure process compliance and identify training needs
  • Leads initiatives to improve workplace safety and reduce operational risks
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
  • Work to maintain and build a strong culture of Health and Safety, attends JHSC Meetings, and promotes a Health and Safety-First culture within our facility
  • Develops and enforces SOPs for receiving, inspecting, and storing inventory
  • Evaluates and manages damaged inventory across all facilities, including third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, and recommends strategic reallocation to support store 'as-is' offerings and enhance outlet store product variety
  • Adheres to and promotes Loss Prevention policies
  • Ensures consistent application of Quality Control protocols
  • Collaborates with Inventory Supervisors and Outlet Stores to manage damaged goods and minimize excess inventory
  • Leverages data analytics to forecast inventory storage needs and optimize stock put away strategy


Team Leadership:

  • Holds staff accountable for maintaining process knowledge and performance standards

  • Inspires and motivates staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, pride, and continuous improvement
  • Provides mentorship and strategic guidance to the Operations Manager, fostering leadership development and ensuring alignment with business continuity objectives
  • Delegates tasks clearly with the required actions, deadlines, and resources

What You Bring

  • 3 years of experience managing a team of 30+, including tasking, motivating, and supervising a labour crew
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and/or Forklifts
  • Certification in providing training on operating motorized equipment is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Warehouse Management systems – SAP is an asset
  • Attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide and receive feedback in the moment
  • Ability to apply 'out of the box' thinking to unique situations and make strong decisive operational decisions based on consultation with others as well as own knowledge and experience
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility to change, maintaining a positive outlook

Salary Range:$90,000.00 To $105,000.00 Annually
