Our member is looking to hire a General Maintenance / Generator Mechanic, for their company servicing Chesterville, ON.
Basic job duties:
- Responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical components of generators, including diesel or gas engines, electrical control systems, and associated power generation equipment.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and replacing faulty parts as needed.
- This job requires maintaining and servicing company equipment and vehicles.
- General shop maintenance will also be within the scope of the role.
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Excellent work ethic
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, resourceful and dependable
- Work well with others
- Salary: $25-$35/hr
- Full-time position
- Comprehensive benefit plan
- Vacation: 3 weeks
