Emterra Group is currently seeking Class 5 Drivers / General Labour to support the Bin Delivery Program in Langley on a 3-week contract. This role plays an important part in helping residents prepare for the upcoming automated curbside collection program by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of waste and recycling carts.

Job Description

  • Operate a company vehicle to deliver carts to designated residential locations.
  • Load and unload empty carts from the vehicle and place them at each home’s curbside.
  • Follow a scheduled route and ensure all deliveries are made accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Interact respectfully with the public when required.
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract (required).
  • Physically able to lift, push, and pull carts and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable driving in residential areas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to safety.
