ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Assistant supports the sales team across sales leadership, field operations, and account management. Responsibilities include assisting managers with data analysis and special projects, preparing quotes and reports for field reps, and managing a set of customer accounts in British Columbia to ensure consistent service and follow-up. This role requires membership in the MoveUP Union, Local 378.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Leadership Support

  • Assist in developing dashboards, reports, price lists, and data analyses to support informed sales strategy and decision-making
  • Contribute to internal task forces and special sales initiatives
  • Assist managers in preparing materials for business reviews and key projects

Support to Sales Representatives

  • Create and manage quotes, process order requests, and assist with new product and account setup
  • Respond to sales rep inquiries and ensure timely access to product and sales information
  • Handle pre-orders and customer follow-ups during rep absences

Account Management (British Columbia)

  • Maintain and support relationships with assigned customer accounts in British Columbia
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and assist with ongoing sales activities in the region

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Strong interest in supporting teams and contributing to their success
  • Proficient in Excel, CRM platforms, and business intelligence (BI) tools
  • Highly organized, proactive, and an effective communicator
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
  • Motivated to pursue a career in sales, analytics, or customer success
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
