Rogers is seeking a Senior Developer for our Customer Service Management (CSM) application team. Reporting to a Sr. Development Manager at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, this individual will join a development team whose focus is enhancing the back end of our CSM applications.
This work involves a combination of Agile and SDLC methodologies writing in C, Pro*C, Java, C++, Oracle Tuxedo, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts. The successful candidate will be responsible for solution design, development, unit and integration testing of the system.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain applications using C, Pro*C, Java and Oracle Tuxedo
- Design and implement solutions to facilitate communication between distributed systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot Tuxedo services and batch process for performance and reliability.
- Integrate Java-based applications with Oracle Tuxedo for seamless transaction processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Enhance existing systems by implementing new features and resolving defects.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications , release notes and code reviews.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met for all software components.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure system stability
- Provide application and user support, troubleshooting, post-implementation review of new/ hanged applications.
- Strong experience in C, Pro*C, Oracle Tuxedo and Java development.
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL
- Strong Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with distributed transaction processing.
- Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP-based Web Services.
- Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration patterns.
- Understanding of messaging protocols (JMS, MQ)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, SonarQube, Dynatrace
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with Customer Service Management system
- Experience with cloud-based architectures (Azure or AWS).
- Knowledge of microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
