Sr UI/UX Designer

Position Description

We are looking for a proactive and skilled UI/UX Designer to join our Data Governance squad. This person will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing user-facing experiences that enable better data stewardship, domain knowledge, and cross-team collaboration. This project needs a self-starter who can jump in, understand the landscape, and make an immediate impact.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive, accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and SharePoint.
• Create and maintain visually engaging, well-structured internal knowledge repositories and dashboards.
• Collaborate with data stewards, domain owners, and technical teams to translate governance needs into usable interfaces.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
• Work independently to identify user needs, gather requirements, and test solutions with end users.
• Lead efforts in UX research and knowledge management practices that promote data literacy and governance adoption.
• Share ideas proactively and solicit feedback from the client leader.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and modern SharePoint site customization.
• Proven UI/UX design skills, with a portfolio of clean, user-centered interfaces.
• Experience working with internal documentation platforms, knowledge bases, or collaborative repositories.
• Understanding of core data governance concepts including data domains, data stewardship, metadata, etc.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong communication skills and a natural inclination to engage with stakeholders and advocate for user needs.
