What will you do?

• Perform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems
• Action work orders, investigate tenant/client complaints, identify solutions, and resolve problems with HVAC/refrigeration equipment
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems and components
• Complete maintenance duties as required in accordance with code requirements and Edon/client standards (e.g. minor adjustments, changing filters, inspecting fans, replacing/lubricating belts and couplings; assisting with preventive maintenance and completing associated documentation)
• Respond immediately to emergencies both during regular working hours and after hours when on call
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner while maintaining good client relations
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of four years of experience as a licensed Technician
• Holds a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician certificate
• Journeyman certificate in the area of HVAC (e.g. Sheet Metal, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) considered an asset
• Minimum four years' operational experience in facility operations
• Ability to read plans as applied to technical areas
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
• Must own a basic set of HVAC tools. Specialized diagnostic tools are considered an asset.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
• Experience in exercising good judgment under pressure
• Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
• This role is based in Calgary with occasional travel to surrounding areas. Mileage reimbursed.
