Vale Base Metals is hiring Welders in Sudbury to support fabrication and repair operations in its Divisional Shop. This full-time, permanent role involves reading structural and pressure vessel drawings, performing pressure welding and custom metal fabrication. It’s ideal for Red Seal-certified tradespeople with experience in industrial repair environments.

What You’ll Need

• Red Seal (437A) Metal Fabricator/Plate Worker certification
• Valid CWB welding certification
• Minimum 4 years of industrial fabrication experience (preferred)
• Experience with oxy-fuel, plasma cutting, and blueprint interpretation
• Familiarity with safety standards in welding environments
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Rigging and material handling experience
• Ability to use custom metalworking equipment (shears, presses, saws)
• Welding code and standards knowledge
• Strong safety awareness and self-management skills
