The Senior Advisor is a cornerstone role within the Connect Care initiative, aimed at revolutionizing how prescribers and clinical teams deliver care across Alberta. As part of the Chief Medical Information Office (CMIO) team, this position offers the unique opportunity to work directly with prescribers and clinical leaders, shaping the future of healthcare through cutting-edge informatics and education. Reporting to the Program Manager, Prescriber Experience, the Senior Advisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting comprehensive training and education strategies tailored to the needs of prescribers. This includes aligning provincial workflows with Connect Care's capabilities, leveraging the Epic platform, and fostering sustainable adoption of health information systems.

Facilitate organizational change by enabling prescribers to transition seamlessly to using Connect Care. Engage in strategic planning to ensure training resources and programs align with Connect Care’s goals. Provide expertise to resolve challenges related to prescriber workflows and education.
