We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Calgary. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Health & Benefits (H&B) Consultant Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our consulting team with data analysis and project management, contributing to innovative solutions for our clients.

We will count on you to:

  • Assist the consulting team in gathering, organizing, entering, and analyzing data using Excel spreadsheets for various client projects.
  • Review the work of lower-level analysts and manage portions of projects with a focus on results analysis.
  • Gather utilization or rate data from vendors via Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and summarize responses in Excel or PowerPoint for client presentations.
  • Develop cost projections and evaluate vendor renewal workups for client meetings.
  • Demonstrate project management and consulting skills by managing the quality and timeliness of client deliverables, developing budget, and billing reports, and participating in calls and meetings.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and summarize findings effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for preparing and delivering clear and concise reports.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and experience in managing deliverables.
