We are looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Stores Canada team. The Sr. HRBP is both a strategic and hands-on role providing strategic Human Resources support to Senior leaders based in the US and Canada. This role will be a part of a fun, passionate and dynamic HR and business team and requires strong team collaboration across multiple locations, HR centres of excellence and Seattle HR teams. This role is critical in executing Canada people initiatives by providing great internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence. This role will also have an opportunity to lead or contribute to Canada-wide initiatives focused on site health and employee experience working with the country leader.

The base salary for this position ranges from $39.38/hr up to $65.77/hr. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Coaching and mentoring at all management levels.
- Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.

- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in progressive HR leadership roles with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.
- Able to travel, as needed.
- Experience working with a global team.
- Experience assessing leadership talent.
- Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations
- 3-4 years HR experience in a high tech environment preferred.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation
