The Senior Manager, Communications oversees all internal and external communications for the Canadian business. This role leads the development and execution of communication strategies, manages community investment initiatives, and supports business needs across subsidiaries as a strategic advisor.

The Senior Manager, Communications oversees all internal and external communications for the Canadian business. This role leads the development and execution of communication strategies, manages community investment initiatives, and supports business needs across subsidiaries as a strategic advisor.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead internal and external communications strategy, provide guidance and support for issues management and crisis communications
- Manage a team of communicators and translators, and support business subsidiaries
- Oversee communications budget, translation programs, and introduce new translation technologies
- Develop and manage messaging for key audiences, including emails, updates, speaking notes, and FAQs
- Handle stakeholder requests, prioritize communications, and ensure channel alignment
- Lead content creation and distribution across platforms like SharePoint, Firstup, and other internal tools
- Drive community investment strategy and support external communications, media, and donation requests.
- Measure communication effectiveness, improve channels, and create toolkits to scale communications impact,
- 7+ years of experience in strategic communications for complex projects and change initiatives
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- Broad communications expertise with a creative, innovative approach
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and advise senior leaders
- Experience in matrixed environments and leading change across regions
- Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills—clear, concise, and engaging
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects with strong attention to detail
- Business-minded, discreet with sensitive info, and always looking to improve
