Reporting to the Director, Inventory and supporting warehouses and branches nationally, Master is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Engineering Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in optimizing inventory operations, implementing controls to minimize errors, establish key reporting metrics and improve inventory productivity across the entire network. By leveraging your engineering expertise and relentless focus on efficiency, you will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.
Optimizing Inventory Operations
What you will accomplish with us:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
Proven experience in process improvement, preferably in a Distribution Centre or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge and practical application of lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and industrial engineering techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization tools.
Advanced knowledge in SQL (requirement) and PowerBI/Alteryx (requirement)
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Motivated and eager self starter, with ability to work independently or part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence
Knowledge of AutoCad software (required) to assist with layout designs.
Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA required) and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Visio an asset)
Knowledge/understanding of ERP and WMS software (SX Enterprise, and TWL software an asset).
Occasional travel may be required (Canada/US)
French an asset - Need to interact regularly with our internal Master Group collaborators across the country. After evaluation, it has been determined that no other solution can meet these professional obligations.
Compensation Information
Base salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year

Optimizing Inventory Operations
What you will accomplish with us:
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for
- Identify key areas for process enhancement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction opportunities within the network
- Writing training materials, work procedures (SOPs) and process modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized processes and best-in-class operational procedures.
- Manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Design and implement specific process checks to ensure that errors are reduced and eliminated where applicable
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate control tolerances, process improvements, and project outcomes to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Develop and establish performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and track improvement progress. Regularly monitor, report, and analyze KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret inventory data to identify trends, nonproductive, and productive items to provide branch operations with recommendations
- Coordinate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive successful flow plans for product getting to branches and DCs
