Your Impact at Empire Homes

The Home Orientation Representative will schedule and implement inspections of new homes pre-close, identifying and reporting deficiencies in accordance with Tarion CPG and Ontario Building Code. They will conduct in-person handovers of the PDI with the homeowner and construction prior to filing the Initial Warranty Form, then execute completion of any outstanding deficiencies.

This position is located in Thorold, ON

What We Are Looking For

  • Secondary school
  • Related college diploma/degree an asset
  • Valid “G” drivers license.
  • Industry knowledge/experience including Tarion CPG and Ontario Building Code is an asset.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Suite and ability to learn various programs.
  • Customer service experience/exposure is an asset.

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day

  • Schedule appointment for inspection with homeowners based on construction closing schedule.
  • Reporting including spreadsheets and internal aging reports.
  • Emailing homeowners and Empire interdepartmental.
  • Creating onsite files and packages with printing documentation including site files and CCP’s.
  • Coordination and completions of PDI deficiencies.
  • Exterior site auditing.
  • Provide support to onsite administration staff as needed.
  • Follow up orientations of home operations after closing.
  • Ability to travel to various sites and office as required by the business.
