The Opportunity: The Clan House Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational and day-to-day functions of the Clan Houses. CSFS aims to deliver wraparound, lifecycle-spanning services, where every contributor to the environment of care is acknowledged, supported and honoured as part of the future of the Carrier and Sekani people.  Clan Houses will form a pivotal piece of infrastructure to enable the reinvigoration of both the traditions and culture of the Carrier Sekani through supporting families through a range of services up to and including providing direct and 24/7 care to Clan children and their families.

  • Provide leadership and support to Clan Parents and Clan House staff
  • Participate in program development and evaluation ensuring programming is culturally relevant and safe
  • Identify process gaps and risk management issues
  • Collaborates with other CSFS team managers/directors to facilitate an integrated approach to supporting children and families

Role

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Child and Youth Care or Social Science or equivalent an asset
  • 3-5 Years experience in managing programs and teams
  • Possess 3+ years management in First Nation administration, community development, or a social work-related field
  • A combination of experience and education may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $46.6909 to $53.7233 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
