The Edmonton Police Service requires one (1) individual with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail to assume the following responsibilities within the Court Document & Warrant Management (CDWP) Unit. Reporting directly to the Unit Sergeant, responsibilities of this position will include and not be limited to:
40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
Salary Range:
21B, Salary Grade: 013, $27.06 - $33.94 (Hourly), $2,165.50 - $2,715.40 (Bi-Weekly), $56,520.07 - $70,872.98 (Annually).
The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.

The Edmonton Police Service requires one (1) individual with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail to assume the following responsibilities within the Court Document & Warrant Management (CDWP) Unit. Reporting directly to the Unit Sergeant, responsibilities of this position will include and not be limited to:
- Review, prioritize and assign work to employees; analyze work volumes on a consistent basis to ensure resources are properly deployed to meet identified unit goals and objectives
- Review documents and work products created by employees to ensure consistency with unit and organizational standards.
- Provide necessary training, coaching, and mentoring to employees as required.
- Evaluate performance of Warrant Management (WM) Clerks including preparation of annual performance reviews and developing personal and professional development plans to assist WM Clerks in achieving their goals.
- Facilitate the recruiting and selection processing for new employees to the area.
- Maintain staffing levels through vacation/leave approvals and attendance reviews; ensure that human resources software is up to date for accurate scheduling and pay for WM Clerks.
- Creating a strong team environment and resolving concerns made by internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a healthy, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment in CDWP by participating in wellness initiatives, fostering strong relationships, and managing conflict.
- Identify opportunities of best practices related to the unit’s processes and IT Systems; create new work procedures and policies to support identified opportunities.
- Develop procedural manuals and ensure information is kept current.
- Provide coordination with external agencies to ensure that documentation is being received in timely manner.
- Responding to internal and external partner requests.
- Performing other related duties.
- Completion of grade twelve (12) including business subjects related to word and information processing and training in microcomputer applications or completion of an approved certificate program.
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible supervisory and diversified word and/or information processing experience.
- A minimum of recent three (3) years supervising a medium to large group of staff members.
- Recent or active experience using Police and Alberta Justice records management systems (RMS), including EPROS, NICHE, CPIC, ORCA and JOIN is an asset.
- Proven leadership and team building skills.
- Proven organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills in a high pace environment.
- Experience in the lifecycle management of large volumes of sensitive records in a records management system.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite products, particularly Excel.
