The Junior Process Specialist will support process development within the Trench Canada Instrument Transformers division. This role requires strong analytical skills, a basic understanding of data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to implement and enhance process improvement and standardization initiatives in partnership with Production, Quality, R&D, and Engineering.

A Snapshot of Your Day
The Junior Process Specialist will support process development within the Trench Canada Instrument Transformers division. This role requires strong analytical skills, a basic understanding of data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to implement and enhance process improvement and standardization initiatives in partnership with Production, Quality, R&D, and Engineering.
Your Tasks:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for instrument transformers.
- Utilize SAP to manage and analyze production data, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff.
- Document and report process performance, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of process-related documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
