What You Will Do
As an HR Analyst, you will lead and contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of HR policies and processes.

You have well-developed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills combined with excellent judgment. You are an effective communicator (both verbal and written), able to clearly convey your analysis and build positive relationships with various internal partners and stakeholders. You are a self-starter—innovative, proactive, and able to work independently, taking initiative and driving results to get things done efficiently. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
In Addition, You Have
This position requires a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field, along with 4+ years of relevant, recent work experience.
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do
As an HR Analyst, you will lead and contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of HR policies and processes.
More Specifically, You Will
- Conduct research and benchmarking, respond to surveys, and provide both quantitative and qualitative analytical support for a range of HR policies, practices, and processes (e.g., performance management, recruitment, guidelines).
- Leverage recruitment and labor market data from internal and external sources (e.g., Excel, Power BI, LinkedIn, Conference Board) to develop targeted insights and custom report that empower recruiters with data-driven strategies.
- Partner with the Recruitment team to track meaningful recruitment key metrics, and identify trends, enabling proactive decision-making and stronger alignment with hiring managers and HRBPs
- Support ongoing review and enhancement of HR policies and guidelines to ensure alignment with best practices and legislative requirements.
- Support policy drafting, revisions, and updates driven by legislative or organizational changes.
- Take the lead in documenting and streamlining the process for policy exceptions.
- Oversee the maintenance of the high-profile Official Languages (OL) program, ensuring timely execution, compliance, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Prepare accurate and reliable reports and analyses related to the Bank's Official Language policy compliance and other external legislative requirements, ensuring data integrity and consistency. This includes insuring data integrity and advising the Data team as a data steward to support internal storytelling and strategic decision-making, while also maintaining readiness for timely and compliant external reporting.
- Serve as the data steward for Policy functions and support the data steward for the recruitment team and actively participate in the HR Data Stewardship community with the view of evolving the team’s data maturity.
- Monitoring data quality and consistency..
- Building sound process for ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on HR metrics, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for automating manual processes for business partners, particularly around policy compliance.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement efficient solutions.
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI in daily activities.
- Provide analytical and reporting support to the team.
- Ensure data consistency and assist in tracking Recruitment and Global mobility-related policy compliance.
- Act as the primary power user and administrator for the team’s SharePoint Online (SPO) site.
- Maintain site content, structure, and user access; develop team resources and knowledge-sharing tools.
- Be the go-to expert for transforming briefing notes and complex information into compelling PowerPoint presentations tailored for senior leadership and client audiences.
- Deliver visually engaging and strategically structured decks that tell a clear, powerful story and support data-driven HR decision-making.

In Addition, You Have
- Previous experience as a HR / Business Analyst using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Proven ability using Excel and Power BI to work with data (creating pivot tables, graphs, filters, etc.)
- Experience using Power Point
- Comfort with AI tools and awareness of new and emerging AI capabilities
- Experience presenting the findings of analyses to key partners, including leadership and other HR teams
- Solid understanding of HR data, policies, and programs
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders or partners
- Familiarity with HR-related legislation such as Official Languages and the Labour Code

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,346 to $108,643 (job grade 16)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
