This role requires expertise in project controls, cost control methodologies, project financial management and project planning. The specialist will be responsible for following cost control/planning procedures, templates, and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across projects.

The specialist will be responsible for following cost control/planning procedures, templates, and guidelines to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across projects.
Your Role Within The Team
- Performing/ understanding project cycle according to the company procedures and general project control practices.
- Prepare project schedule with best planning practices.
- Control project cost accounts, coordinate their opening and closing according to the schedule and project status.
- At the end of each reporting period, provide timely and accurate cost report updates, project cost status / deviations and Issue schedule for internal & external use.
- Advise and propose solutions on matters that could prevent meeting the project objectives, provide recommendations to optimize the overall project performance.
- Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all projects and portfolios within the P&L through the whole project cycle.
- Provide input to client reporting as per contract requirements.
- Monitor and control the progress of the work against the Schedule.
- Present to team members as required.
- Prepare earned value analysis and progress reporting for all activities on project. Identify and explain variances between actual costs, plan, earned values and forecasts, communicate the reasons for the variances and identify the problem areas to the Project Manager.
- Support the Project Manager in conducting cost risk analysis on a periodic basis.
- Special assignments, ad hoc reports and other related duties as required.
- Contribute to the implementation of ECOSYS on the project.
- Performing accruals analysis on monthly basis.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling methodologies.

- University Degree or College Diploma.
- 3-5 years of relevant project controls experience.
- Mandatory - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple requests.
- Solid understanding of accruals (Client/Vendor).
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6 and ECOSYS.
- Knowledge of earned value management (EVM).
