Role Description

We are looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our team for commercial interior renovation projects. This full-time on-site role involves physical labour, including site preparation, loading/unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, and assisting in various construction tasks. The Skilled Labourer will work closely with the Site Supervisor and other trades to help ensure timely project completion with the highest quality standards.

Who You Are

• possess 5+ years of experience as a skilled Handyman in a restaurant, retail and/or commercial construction and site development.
• have experience performing framing, drywall, painting, or taping
• are passionate about health and safety
• don't mind swinging a hammer or working the drill.

Key Responsibilities

• Prep construction sites by cleaning and removing obstacles or hazards.
• Load and unload construction materials and ensure they are efficiently moved to the required areas.
• Work alongside other trades and site supervisors to complete interior renovation tasks, such as framing, drywall, painting, and more.
• Assist with the erection of scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
• Waterproof surfaces and finish freshly poured concrete.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing debris and securing tools.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Respond to questions from site workers, subcontractors, and others by directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel, like the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
