We are looking for a talented and curious full-stack software developer with a background in cloud computing, distributed system design, supply chain optimization or user experience. You will contribute to the team’s roadmap, and collaborate with a diverse group of industry-leading technical, operations and business partners to shape the future of our technology, providing the opportunity to learn from the best.
This software developer will help build a rock-solid world-wide network of manufacturing centers operating 24/7 and always at peak performance. Join us as together we revolutionize the availability of goods for Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
As much time as possible is spent on the design and implementation of software. Our team is aided by a technical PM, support engineers (on a follow-the-sun model), QA engineers, and so on so that our SDEs can focus on building. We have a daily standup, weekly operational excellence reviews, and fortnightly review and planning sessions.
About The Team
FARM owns the fulfillment, availability and capacity planning for print on demand (MOD) products. We orchestrate manufacturing and integrate MOD with the Amazon's supply chain (SCOT) and fulfillment (AFT).

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Autonomous contributor to the team's software;
- Deliver working features spanning the full SDLC, working backwards from customers through design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations and documentation;
- Coach others on producing high-quality code;
- Disambiguate ambiguous technology and business problems;

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
