This Position Reports To
Business Manager - Commercial&Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Follow ABB Health & Safety policies for all assigned jobs.
- Lead or assist in new and retrofit projects, ensuring smooth execution.
- Travel as needed to resolve equipment issues and optimize crane system performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, prepare job plans, and present service recommendations.
- Implement crane system improvements, upgrade obsolete automation, and set up remote monitoring solutions.
- Provide professional support, coordinate technical discussions, and identify additional value opportunities for ABB.
- Electrical Engineering degree or Technologist Diploma with
- 5+ years in electrical and automation systems installation, servicing, or commissioning.
- Strong background in crane electrical systems, industrial software, PLCs, HMI, variable frequency drives, switchgear, and network commissioning.
- Proficient in MS Office, strong mechanical aptitude, and maintenance-oriented mindset.
- Up to 75% travel, including weekends and holidays; valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and ability to work independently.
