What You’ll Like About This Job

Jardeg Construction is hiring Marine Mechanics to support the Suncor Fort Hills Maintenance team near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This permanent role offers a 14/14 day rotation, with camp accommodations and flights from Calgary or Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have marine mechanical experience and be ready to contribute to tailings fleet maintenance.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years as 4th Class Motor Competency or higher
• 5+ years in marine maintenance
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
• ESC Aerial Work Platform
• ESC Fall Protection
• ESC Confined Space Entry & Monitor
• Overhead Crane and Rigging
• Valid Full Class 5 Driver’s License
• 5-year Drivers Abstract
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Knowledge of hydraulic propulsion, winches, and crane systems
• Experience with dredges, barges, and workboats
• Ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams
