As National Implementation Manager you will lead and oversee Implementations for Air and Sea Logistics, including EDI/API data integration projects and order management.
You will work closely with the customer and several stakeholders, departments within the organization to achieve customer satisfaction and find solutions to minimize manual workload for Kuehne+Nagel. You will demonstrate leadership skills to navigate different project types with our proven GCIM (Global Customer Implementation Methodology).

As National Implementation Manager you will lead and oversee Implementations for Air and Sea Logistics, including EDI/API data integration projects and order management.
You will work closely with the customer and several stakeholders, departments within the organization to achieve customer satisfaction and find solutions to minimize manual workload for Kuehne+Nagel. You will demonstrate leadership skills to navigate different project types with our proven GCIM (Global Customer Implementation Methodology).
How you create impact
- Execute project roles as a Lead or National project manager/expert for new awarded business, re-implementations, data integration or order management projects (in conjunction with a Technical Project Manager SIM).
- Ensure to create a positive customer experience during the onboarding process.
- Lead project definition, scope and objectives by collaborating with stakeholders. Create detailed plans, including timelines as per GCIM.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver project updates and reports to stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.Maintain all relevant documents accurately and within agreed upon timelines by utilizing project management methodology/tools.
- Pro-actively manage the project scope and report scope creep or change requests timely.
- Conduct regular meetings internally and externally to deep dive into customer requirements/needs and align with internal stakeholders how to integrate it best into our structure/systems without manual workload.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and Methods of Procedure (SOP/MOP) with all parties involved, get approval from the customer and internal stakeholders.
- Support to create customized reports if required and conduct proper handover procedure during project closure including lesson learned.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Transportation, Logistics, Commerce, Administration or a related fields
- 5+ years of experience in similar role and expertise in Sea and Air logistics operations systems and procedures
- 3+ years of Project Management skills and/or leadership experience
- Knowledge on Supply chain concepts including Customer Onboarding, Implementation, Order Management, Transportation Management, and Destination Management
- Advanced knowledge in word, excel, power point and Microsoft teams
- Ability to identify, resolve issues effectively, analyze data and identify areas for improvement
- Ability to understand and meet customer needs and work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
