Support Services Administrator, 4-month contract

The successful candidate will be responsible providing support in the Mailroom and to all areas of the business. The Support Services Administrator will be required to promptly respond to facilities requests and provide backup to the Support Services team, as needed.

This role is a 4-month contract, based on-site in our Cambridge office.

What You Will Do

  • Support workstation set up and maintenance
  • Multi-task and problem solve, as requests are triaged and responded to
  • Sort and distribute Incoming and Outgoing mail, and preparing courier parcels
  • Retrieve and scan policy documents
  • Provide back up for answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Provide administrative support to other departments or projects
  • Foster strong working relationship within the team, department and organization
  • Provide support to employees with Facilities requests.
  • Event Management Support, set up and take down of Townhall
  • Dishwashing prepping and packing away of crockery and utensils

What You Will Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous office experience and mailroom experience, an asset
  • High level of customer service skills required
  • Attention to detail and organized self-starter
  • Ability to learn different technical systems
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of Windows, MS Office & Outlook
  • Professional writing skills to respond to emails professionally
