The Business Analyst must be a confident self-starter with the ability to support teams to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Working closely with our business partners, including product marketing, sales, marketing and other Freedom commercial group, you will support requirements documentation and, coordinating efforts of products and processes for Freedom Mobile. Your day-to-day accountabilities will include:

  • Facilitate meetings to capture business requirements and improve operational processes.
  • Lead medium to large project delivery, analyzing systems, user experience, and risks.
  • Apply process improvement techniques, supporting system and procedural changes.
  • Build detailed presentations and business requirements documents (BRD).
  • Collaborate with UAT specialists, ensured solutions met business needs, and kept stakeholders informed.
  • Manage business communications and documentation, supporting enterprise projects and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years business analysis or project delivery or 2 – 5 years in telecommunications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a combination of relevant experience and post-secondary education
  • Working towards the completion of BA certification is preferred
  • Certification of competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) would be considered an asset
  • Fully proficient in business analysis practice for project delivery would be considered an asset
  • Good understanding of business and process analysis approaches and techniques, and demonstrates the ability to execute basic approaches and techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Strong client/user interaction skills to elicit requirements.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of agile methodologies and supporting tools is considered an asset
