Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our client.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend

Pay Rate: Starting from $65 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid; onsite 2 days a week could be more down the road

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a very strong Scrum Master with proven experience and background in the industry. Must have exceptional leadership skills to influence and lead the delivery of risk related products using our Agile framework. Looking for a go-getter, quick learner individual who can quickly onboard and support our business effectively.

Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • Scrum (IT focus)
  • Agile Scale knowledge, will lead PI Plannings
  • JIRA / CONFLUENCE (needs to be strong, this is the main tools used - 95% of the time)
  • Kanban - Proficient in switching from Scrum to Kanban as needed
  • Leading a team / Pod (strong leadership skills, preferable if they were a people manager before)
  • Strong communication
  • Keen Problem-Solving abilities
  • Ability to form new teams and start sprinting with them.
