Payroll Specialist – Niagara Falls
Location: Niagara Falls, ON | Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reports Handle corporate tax planning, HST/GST filings, and audits Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, and reconciliations Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights for clients Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards
Mentor and support junior accountants within the team Collaborate with clients to improve financial efficiency and profitability
Qualifications & Skills:
CPA designation or in progress 5+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or financial reporting Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients
Exceptional communication and client service skills
