Are you a Youth Mental Health & Substance Use Clinician looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Specialized Services department.

Under the direction of the Youth Inpatient Services Team Leader, and as part of the inter-disciplinary team, this position is responsible for providing therapeutic intervention, assessment and care planning for youth experiencing substance use and/or mental health challenges. The incumbent provides care, support and education to youth clients and their families/caregivers as identified through assessment and care planning. The incumbent will be expected to work within the frameworks of Person and Family-Centered Care, Trauma-Informed Practice, Harm Reduction, Psycho-Social Rehabilitation and Brief Action Planning. This position requires flexibility and a strong commitment to connect with and support youth in their environment. The incumbent is responsible for the creation and implementation of youth care plans, the carrying out of individual and group activities to improve or maintain the youth’s level of physical, mental and social functioning and the development and implementation of discharge planning, ensuring youth return to community safely with appropriate community supports in place.
