Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Conventional/CNC Machinist to operate and maintain precision machining equipment, including manual and CNC machines. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of machining practices, the ability to read technical drawings, and experience working to tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Edit CNC programs as needed to optimize performance
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Requirements:
Minimum 35 years of experience as a machinist
Proficiency with both manual and CNC machines (Fanuc or similar controls preferred)
Strong knowledge of GD&T and machining principles
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
