As a Crew Leader or Horticulturist, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations on residential and commercial properties. You will perform and supervise detailed garden and turf care, help train newer crew members, and maintain clear communication with the operations team to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

As a Crew Leader or Horticulturist, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations on residential and commercial properties. You will perform and supervise detailed garden and turf care, help train newer crew members, and maintain clear communication with the operations team to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small crew on scheduled maintenance routes
- Perform hands-on horticultural work, including pruning, edging, weeding, and planting
- Operate battery-powered mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Identify plant health concerns and address them appropriately
- Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing properties
- Communicate daily with the operations team regarding site updates
- Monitor hours, track performance, and complete job reporting
- Support new staff training and onboarding processes
- Identify and report enhancement opportunities
- Participate in snow operations and safety training during the winter season
- Two to three or more years of horticulture or landscape maintenance experience
- Plant knowledge and garden care expertise are required for the horticulturist role
- Leadership experience or crew supervision is considered an asset
- Valid G-Class Driver's License and reliable transportation
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and client satisfaction
- Full-time position
- Competitive salary range at CA$ 23 to CA$ 30 per hour, based on experience.
