We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and manage inventory control operations for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient inventory flow, and alignment with production and procurement schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory systems, and demand forecasting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels for production and distribution.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehousing teams to ensure material availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management software.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; reconcile any variances.
  • Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Track and report key performance metrics related to purchasing, costs and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, and material usage.
  • Manage obsolete, slow-moving, and excess inventory and develop strategies for disposition.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff or warehouse personnel, if applicable.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory software.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), and other inventory optimization methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in inventory management or supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Experience with automation tools and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Background in data analysis or logistics planning.
